Incantatio celebrates its 25th anniversary with a lustrous concert with the performance of the Große Messe by W.A. Mozart. This masterpiece is most probably less well-known than his Requiem, but it not only possesses the very same unprecedented musical qualities, it also shrouded in mystery: why did Mozart write it? And why didn’t he finish it, just like his Requiem.
The performance of this great composition is performed by Incantatio together with a big orchestra lead by Lei Wang, first concert master of the Philharmonie Zuidnederland. Renomated soloists are Esther Kouwenhoven (soprano), Emilie De Voght (soprano), Erik Dello (tenor) and Jokke Martens (bariton).
An informal drink is offered after the concert. More info can be read here (Dutch only).
